One man has died following a single car crash in Walcha this afternoon.
A police spokesperson confirmed that the man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, passed away despite best efforts of emergency services.
The driver and another passenger were hospitalised in the accident, which occurred before 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.

All three men were in the same vehicle which crashed on Niangala Road near Walcha.
Forensic police and detectives from the Oxley Police District are conducting an investigation into the cause of the crash. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
NSW Ambulance Service spokesman earlier told the Leader one of the men travelling in the vehicle had suffered minor injuries in the crash.
He had been taken to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition, he said.

The NSW Ambulance Service reports a man injured in a car crash outside Walcha has been taken to hospital.
Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene at about 1.40pm on Tuesday.
NSW Ambulance Service spokesperson reported that one of the men had been taken to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital with minor injuries in a stable condition.
Another young man was uninjured, he told the Leader.

Oxley Police had previously said a third person was trapped in the vehicle.
EARLIER:
One person remains trapped and injured while two others have escaped as emergency services hurry to the scene of a single vehicle crash.
Oxley Police District received the call at 1.45pm this afternoon, detailing the crash on Niangala Road near Walcha.
Ambulance paramedics got the call just before 1.40pm, and have now sent crews out ready to treat the three occupants.
Fire brigade crews are currently on scene, while police are on their way ready to join with the slew of emergency service providers.
