Westpac Rescue Helicopter crews rushed to the scene just after 11:30am on Wednesday, after reports a 32-year-old man had come off his motorbike on a dirt road south of the town.
It appears the rider in his 30's sustained serious spinal and shoulder injuries when he came off his bike on the dirt track.
The crash occurred about 20 to 30 kilometres west of Walcha on Geraldine Road and required the assistance of not only NSW Ambulance paramedics but the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

After the patient was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, he was airlifted to Newcastle for urgent treatment by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter critical care medical team.
NSW Ambulance reported the man was still in a serious condition on Wednesday afternoon.
