Usually Matt McKean and the rest of the crew are out to fight fires.
This November the team turned their attention to slightly hairier issues; mental health, suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer with the efforts of their upper lip.
"We went really well except for the actual moustache growing part myself," Mr McKean said.
"But we raised a lot of awareness and exceeded expectations by raising $1320 which was more than our goal of $1000 so that felt really good.
"Hands down I won the worst 'mo, all the blokes looked better than me; they all looked fantabulous [sic]."

The idea was spurred on after a few people close to Mr McKean were diagnosed with prostate cancer.
"I suppose just having discussions around that we hoped to reduce the number of deaths around prostate cancer through awareness to get those numbers down." he said.
"For us personally we wanted to raise awareness about early detection which is the key to stopping or reducing risk."
The Tamworth RFS firefighters hope to take part in the fundraiser next year, or choose a different charity to support.
Movember is focused on suicide prevention, prostate and testicular cancer. It aims to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25 per cent by 2030.
