The North Western council areas, which include Moree Plains Shire, have been declared as 'severe' fire danger, as well as the Northern Slopes and New England regions.
Hot and windy conditions into Monday has seen NSW Rural Fire Service continue the total fire ban for the North West and Northern Slopes.
The ban covers Moree Plains, Narrabri, Walgett, Warrumbungle, Gunnedah, Gwydir, Inverell, Liverpool Plains and Tamworth.
Moree is forecast to reach a top of 44 degrees for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, before cooling down to a maximum of 38 on Thursday.
The NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) said they may issue a Harvest Safety Alert for areas of heightened risk.
"Harvest operators should monitor conditions and regularly check that they are operating within guidelines."
