A MAGISTRATE has refused a man bail, after he was charged with a Tamworth break-in and fraud offences.

Russell Morgan's bid for release was denied in Tamworth Local Court on Friday morning.
The 35-year-old will fight six charges against him and has pleaded not guilty to one count of break, enter and steal; and five counts of dishonestly obtaining property by deception.
Magistrate Julie Soars refused his bail application, ordering him to spend Christmas in custody.

Morgan is accused of targeting a home in Alice Street in South Tamworth earlier this month.
Police allege he broke into the property on the morning of November 9 and stole a woman's wallet and then used the cards to obtain goods.
After investigations into the break-in, the Oxley Proactive Crime Team homed in on Morgan who was arrested at a home in Robert Street shortly after 1.30am on Friday.
He was taken to Tamworth police station and questioned about the property crime before being charged and refused bail.
The case will return to court in mid-January.
