Group 4 2021: club signings, losses and news for 2021

Players and supporters alike are hungry for rugby league to return in 2021 after COVID-19 saw the 2020 season cancelled.

The latest story: Mick's message to Bulldogs: Get to training
The quote: Schmiedel confirmed a couple losses. "A couple blokes have left. Regan Walsh, hooker-half in 2019, we'll be missing him," he said.
Werris Creek Magpies
Coach: Cody Tickle and Tom Brown
Ins:
Outs: Tom Brown, Callum Hayne, Sam Lumby, Jamie Baily
The quote: Tickle said he "was still working" on snaring new players. "There's a few blokes that haven't fully committed ... I can't really tell you anything on that front, to be honest," he said.

Kootingal-Moonbi Roosters
Coach:Geoff Sharpe

The quote: Sharpe has been buoyed by a few "new" acquisitions. "Chris Vidler has come out of retirement and will play for us," he said of the blockbusting prop. "He will be able to play every second week."

The quote: Rampling said the club had been "fairly proactive" in the off-season regarding player recruitment. "The last two years we've probably had 17-18 quality first-grade players; now we're sort of pushing up to the mid-20s," he said.

The quote: McManus said: "We've got some good young fellas coming through from last year's 18s side that Tommy [Learoyd-Lahrs] put the polish on. We're looking all right at the moment."

The quote: 2021 will mark the club's 100th year and first grade captain-coach Jake Rumsby thinks there can be more than one reason to celebrate by season's end. "For every club, the end goal is to make the grand final and with the side we can have on paper, it'd be disappointing if we don't get there," he said.
