The country music sweetheart is releasing her second family album The Kid's Gone Country 2 on Friday, and the national launch will be held at the Tamworth town hall on Sunday, at 11am.
"The objective with this album is to bring music back to the level where all the family can enjoy it, and parents don't have to skip tracks," Lawrence told the Leader.
"I hope it's a soundtrack for summer for families - something they can pop on while driving to holidays or at Christmas."
Lawrence said the number one aim of the album could be easily summed up into one word: "fun".

Lawrence - who admits she's "not a dancer" - roped in the Tamworth City Dance Academy to help create eight dances and video clips to go with the tunes.
She popped up to the Tamworth region last week, to visit a few lucky schools.
"It was amazing, I performed songs from the new album and it proved kids from age two to eight - even up to 10 years old, can really enjoy them," she said.
Nundle Public School, St Edwards infant school and Poppins Bush School all made "great" crowds for the concerts, Lawrence said.
While the album is not about "lessons" or "tests", Lawrence said there are still some themes she thinks it's important kids understand.
Tunes like Raindance talk about the drought, while other songs cover issues like saving the planet.
The show at Tamworth town hall on Sunday is the only The Kid's Gone Country 2 show for the year, so Lawrence said she's going to make it extra special.
"I'm just really looking forward to giving the Tamworth community a morning of fun and entertainment," she said.
"It's about everyone feeling good."
Lawrence has five album packs up for grabs for Northern Daily Leader subscribers.
Entries close on Wednesday, November 25 at 5pm, and winners will be notified the following day.
Tickets to the Tamworth show can be found here, or the event can be streamed online from anywhere in Australia.
