Maddison Maree Bower had her bid for release rejected in Tamworth Local Court on Tuesday by magistrate Julie Soars, after she was charged with a string of offences, including two police chases.
Police claim they spotted the 23-year-old behind the wheel of the white Holden Commodore on Goonoo Goonoo Road about 10.30pm on Monday.
Officers gave chase near South McDonald's, and they allege Bower lost control of the car and it spun out-of-control and struck a police car at the intersection of Hillvue and Duri roads.

Bower and her passenger were arrested, but her passenger was released without charge.
Oxley police said the marked police car was damaged but the officers inside were not injured.
Investigators claim Bower was known to officers and had been wanted for breaching her bail for property offences, and had been earlier chased by officers.
It's the police case she failed to stop for officers about 11am on November 11 in East Tamworth.
It's alleged Bower was behind the wheel of a white Holden Commodore in Chelmsford Avenue and took off from police before they called off the pursuit because of safety concerns.
Bower faces two charges each of driving while disqualified; using an unregistered vehicle; using an uninsured car; and police pursuit. She also accused of not paying tax on a car; and using a vehicle with altered number plates.
On Tuesday, Ms Soars denied bail, ordering Bower into custody until next week when the case returns to court for her to enter pleas.
