While racing in the fender benders, Mathew Imbornone was involved in a prang that saw him suffer two cracked ribs.
The Gunnedah Speedway Club driver has left hospital and is resting up at home, Gunnedah's Ray Darcey informed The Leader.
Other than the injury to Imbornone, organiser Paul Slade, from the Tamworth Motorcycle Club, said the night ran smoothly.

"It was very good. Very busy. Lots of cars and a healthy crowd," Slade said.
"I think everyone had a lot of fun. Basically, I was told they loved the track and wanted to come back."
The main feature of the night was the V8 Dirt Modifieds and Slade said they didn't disappoint.
"They put on a really good show. They loved it and the crowd loved it," he said.
The Tamworth Motorcycle Club will be hosting another event in a couple weeks' time.
"On the 28th [of November] we have the NSW Junior Long Track Championships and the Gary Innis Sidecar Shield. It's another big weekend," Slade said.
