An ambulance crew was called to single vehicle crash about 1:50pm at Flemming Crescent in West Tamworth.
A 26-year-old woman, who is believed to be the driver of the car, was treated for shock by paramedics but escaped the incident relatively unscathed.
Just minutes later a second prang was reported at the intersection of White and Carthage streets.
The two-car crash attracted the attention of NSW Fire and Rescue crews, paramedics and Oxley Police District officers about 2pm.
Road diversions were in place while firefighters cleared up what appeared to be a petrol spill on the road.
