
A 64-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital with a head injury, after he fell from a horse at a property near Tamworth on Thursday.
Ambulance paramedics were urgently called to a farm at Nundle just before 10:30am.

The man had been riding a horse at a property when he fell off, and was hurt in the accident.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was called in to fly the horse rider to Tamworth hospital for further treatment.
The 64-year-old was taken by ambulance to meet the chopper, which landed at the sports grounds in the village of Nundle.
The helicopter's critical care team helped to stabilise the man for transport before he was airlifted to hospital.
It is understood he was in a stable condition.
