On Friday, the 39-year-old man remained in a critical condition in a Queensland hospital, as police issued a new appeal to the public for information on what happened.
Police said the man was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle along Warialda Road in Inverell at about 6:30pm, and a 28-year-old woman was driving a ute along Froude Street, when they crashed at the intersection of the two roads.
The motorbike rider was airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to a Gold Coast hospital with multiple serious injuries.

Inverell police confirmed on Friday the rider remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
Officers from New England Police District established a crime scene after the crash, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is under way.
Police have asked anyone who witnessed the crash or may have dashcam footage to come forward.
