Education Minister Sarah Mitchell paid a visit to St Edwards early Thursday morning to launch a new book alongside education resources to ease the transition of kids into schooling life.
She was joined by Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson to launch the tale featuring native Australian animal characters.
Called 'Daisy's First Day,' it's been developed to help children learn about what they might experience in a typical school day.
Other resources announced include a Transition to School Guide for Early Childhood Education which was developed in collaboration with early childhood teachers, primary school principals and kindergarten teachers.
