Alan Patrick Walker made no bid for release after he was arrested at a home in Mulligan Street in Inverell by officers connected to Strike Force Midwest.

Walker, aged 39, appeared in Inverell Local Court where magistrate Jacqueline Trad formally refused bail until mid-December.

He was not required to enter pleas to 39 charges of drug supply; participating in a criminal group; knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime; and supplying on an ongoing basis.

If found guilty of some of the charges, he faces up to 20 years' imprisonment.

Jake Annis-Brown is accused of 38 drug-related charges and is set to remain behind bars until at least December, while his partner Cheyenne Thompson, 27, also remains in custody.

She's facing six drug supply charges and has been refused bail until November. Neither have entered any pleas or made any application for release.

The operation was launched by Inverell detectives to target drug supply across the Inverell and Warialda areas, and unfolded with two arrested and a raid on a Long Street home in Warialda. There, police seized drugs, cash, electronic devices and property suspected of being stolen.

Police said several arrests are expected as part of the operation and investigations are continuing.
