
A 56-year-old man has been airlifted to Tamworth hospital, after the truck he was driving rolled on Thursday morning.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and ambulance paramedics rushed to the scene just after 10:30am, after reports a truck had rolled on Thunderbolts Way at Rocky River, near Uralla.

The 56-year-old man driving the truck had managed to escape from the wreck before emergency services arrived, but he was hurt in the crash.

Paramedics and the chopper's critical care team treated the man for possible injuries to his head, back and arm.
The driver was airlifted by the helicopter to Tamworth hospital for further treatment and assessment.
It is understood he was in a serious but stable condition.
