The 17-year-old was behind the wheel just before 8.15am when the car left the road and crashed, trapping her on the Black Stump Way between Tambar Springs and Coolah.
A multitude of emergency services including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and NSW SES rushed to the crash scene
Three road ambulances were also deployed and rescue crews had to free the injured 17-year-old.

She suffered multiple fractures and was treated on scene by the chopper's critical care medical team before she was flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a serious but stable condition.
The crash saw the road shut for a short time while emergency services worked at the scene.
The crash is being investigated.
