A 43 year old man has been airlifted to hospital after a serious paragliding accident at Mt Borah, near Manilla.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Mt Borah Wimborne just after 4.30pm Thursday following reports of the crash.
Ambulance Service NSW Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated the 43 year old male pilot for arm and possible pelvic injuries.

The injured man was stabilised at the scene before being airlifted to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition, with non life threatening injuries, for further assessment and treatment.
It's not known how the incident occurred, and it will be subject to an investigation by the governing body.
