THREE people have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash at a busy Tamworth intersection on Tuesday morning.

Three adults and two children were involved in the crash at the corner of Ebsworth Street and Bridge Street in West Tamworth.
Four ambulance crews rushed to the scene and paramedics began treating the five patients, just before 9am.

Two of the adults refused to be assessed, while the other adult and two children were taken by ambulance to Tamworth hospital.
It is understood all patients suffered only minor injuries, and were in a stable condition.
One westbound lane was closed at the Bridge Street and Ebsworth Street intersection for about half an hour, according to Live Traffic NSW updates.
The crash scene was cleared after 9:30am and traffic is beginning to return to normal in the area.
Motorists have been urged to exercise caution.
