Take a walk through Anzac Park next week and you might just think you have fallen down the rabbit hole.
Alice in Wonderland, a cheshire cat and the Mad Hatter are just some of the quirky characters ready to challenge residents with a riddle to follow the rabbit's trail.
Organised by Escape Rooms Tamworth owner Jody Stevens, the event is a fun, free, family activity designed to give school kids the opportunity to get out and challenge themselves.
It's notably less spooky than the last zombie hunt event but still with an element of 'off with their heads', and Ms Stevens said she wanted to create something for the community that was suitable for all ages.
"We like to do something community-oriented each school holidays to have a free event so everyone can participate and have some fun," she said.
"We had a zombie hunt last school holidays which was a little bit scary for the age bracket we were targeting so this time we have come up with the Alice in Wonderland Follow the Rabbit's Trail.
"Families can come along, follow the rabbit's trail, meet the live characters, solve the riddles and have the chance to win a few great prizes as well."
The major prize is a $350 kids party styled by Ivory Lane, and some vouchers to go to Tamworth Escape Rooms.

The O'Grady Drama School has offered up some live actors with multiple Alice's at the five scenes prepared with riddles for the rabbit's trail event.
It's estimated it should take families about 15 minutes to make their way through the rabbit trail.
It was something fun and creative and an opportunity to get the community engaged again, Ms Stevens said.
"I just want to make sure everyone has some fun, it's not all about profits in these times with COVID-19."
The Follow the Rabbit's Trail event is free to attend at Anzac Park from 12pm to 1pm on Saturday, October 10.
