From the NSW capital to the Koala capital. It's quite a story, folks. In fact, the 19-year-old has made herself so at home in Gunnedah she doesn't want to leave.
And judging by the warm embrace she has received from her Bulldogs teammates, they don't want her to leave, either. So, it looks like she is staying put - and Gunnedah residents will just have to get used to her effervescence.

Mitchell oozed vivacity and enthusiasm at Wolseley Oval on Saturday, producing a best-on-ground performance in the Bulldogs' historic grand final defeat of the Swans: the final score 4.10 (34) to 4 (24). It was the Dogs' debut premiership, in what was their debut season - Mitchell's inclusion in the side an injection of much-needed experience.
She was twice selected for the Eastern Allies - a combined NSW, ACT and Tasmania under-18 side, and was part of GWS's Winter Series squad last year, before suffering stress fractures in both legs.
The teen arrived in Gunnedah this year with her boyfriend, Gunnedah native Will Tibbs, after they both lost their job and is now working for Hennessy Real Estate.
"It's been the best decision I've ever made," she said of coming to Gunnedah. "I love it ... I'm not leaving this place."
