In the junior boys the standard was set in the opening grand final, where minor premiers Kiwis played Souths for the under-15s silverware in what was an exceptionally high-quality and tight contest.
The two sides couldn't be split after regular time with scores locked at 2-all.

They then went into two periods of drop-off extra time, the score remaining unchanged until Kiwis found the back of the net with only minutes remaining.
Kiwis also prevailed in the under-13s, the minor premiers proving too strong for Workies.
Workies had the better of the early part of the first quarter but Kiwis kicked into gear late in the quarter slotting three quick goals en route to running out 8-1 victors.
The under-11s grand final was an all-Tudors affair with Tudors Maroon taking the honours 4-nil over their Gold compatriots.
Tudors did the under-11s double with the club's Maroon girls scoring two goals in extra time to prevail over Services 7-5.
In what was a great result for the club they clean swept Saturday's grand finals with the Gold defeating Services Blue 7-nil in the under-13s and the under-15s edging out Souths 2-1.
The under-18s grand final was played earlier in the week, and also went into extra-time, Olympians emerging victorious in the end 4-2 over Services.
