The club's player base has virtually doubled this year.
From fielding only an under-18s boys side in the Friday night regional competition last year, president Tom Cutcliffe said they have around 148 juniors registered this year.
With normally around 130 seniors on top of that, he said they felt that if they wanted to keep pushing and growing the juniors, establishing a junior committee was a step they needed to take.

"All of us being volunteers it's too much to try and do everything," Cutcliffe said.
"We really need to split the workload otherwise all the volunteers will run away."
At the upcoming AGM (September 27) they will look to elect a junior vice president, who will lead the junior committee, and a registrar and secretary for the juniors.
The committee will work in unison with the senior executive but concentrate on developing the junior side of the club, which is something Cutcliffe is very passionate about.
"It's the old saying if you haven't got any juniors well it's only going to be a few years time and you're not going to have any seniors," he said.
"If you want the club to grow you've got to start at the bottom and keep working up so we really want to get these juniors happening and getting these kids coming through the club so we can keep developing the seniors in the years to come."
He said they always had the "vision of expanding the juniors this year" but certainly not to the degree they have.
They thought they might be able to get an under-16s boys side and maybe a girls side.
"The way things have gone we've ended up with 14s, 16s and 18s boys and the same in the girls," he said
.Friday night's semi-finals bought a mixed bag of results for the various sides.
The under-14 girls and under-18 boys qualified for their respective grand finals, while the under-18s will play their semi-final next week as they look to join them in the decider.
The season is however over for the under-14 and under-16 boys, and under-16s girls after they went down in their games.
