But there's just one problem: he's physically in the Middle East.
Dr Jake Madden has taught at a number of local schools including St Joseph's Mungindi.
But the 24-year veteran is currently Executive Principal at Al Yasat Private School, Abu Dhabi.

In order to take up his appointment as the new headmaster of St Edward's Primary School Tamworth for 2021, he will have to fly back into Australia.
His appointment was announced on Wednesday by Director of Schools Chris Smyth on behalf of Bishop of Armidale Michael Kennedy.
"This position attracted very well qualified applicants, and I would like to thank the interview panel for their time and commitment to the task of appointing this key role in the school community," Mr Smyth said.
Dr Madden has been a principal for over two decades at schools including Dubai's Dar Al Marefa Private School, Dubai, St Augustine's School, Coffs Harbour and St Joseph's Primary School, Wee Waa.
He is a Doctor of Education from the Australian Catholic University.
