There will be recipes from 2TM identities Sally-Anne Whitten, Toni Ambrogetti and Jarrad Brook, as well as some prominent Tamworth sports people and even a special recipe from one of the chopper's rescue pilots.
For the past 18 years, both 2TM and sister station 92.9FM Tamworth have supported the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service through promotion.
But, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced most big fundraising events to be cancelled, and 2TM still wanted to help somehow.
The station's cookbook will be available for sale from November for $20, and can be bought at the station, Centrepoint or online.
The project came about while searching for information on the station's history.
It became apparent no one had ever actually compiled the history from the many scrap books, photos and newspaper clippings that the station held.
Uncovered along the journey was the information that the 2TM Women's Radio Club had published a Cookery Book in 1947.
This book contained listener recipes and tips and has today become a cherished collectors item that has been passed down through the generations.
In keeping with some of the tradition from the original book, there will be a selection of recipes from some 2TM listeners who can submit recipes for a chance to win a spot in the book.
