Shanita Alice Lee Long appeared in custody in Moree Local Court on Tuesday on six charges including police pursuit - second or subsequent offence.
Highway officers tried to stop the white Toyota Rav 4 on Edward Street in Moree about midday on Monday when checks revealed it had an expired registration.
The Rav 4 failed to stop and 25-year-old Long - who was behind the wheel - took off, triggering a police pursuit.

Police claimed the car hit 100km per hour in a 50 zone during the chase through town before officers abandoned it because of safety concerns.
Police found the Rav 4 shortly after still running in Chester Street and seized it for forensic examination. Long was arrested just after 4.30pm.
She spent the night in custody before fronting court where she pleaded guilty to all charges. Magistrate Mark Richardson jailed her for eight months with a non-parole period of six months.
Long was convicted without further penalty for not displaying red p-plates; using an unregistered car; and using an uninsured car.
She'll be eligible for release in February, and also had her licence disqualified for two years.
Offences of exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km per hour; and using a car on a road without paying vehicle taxes were withdrawn and dismissed in court.
