Hunter New England Health (HNEH) confirmed 311 people had been screened at the pop-up clinic at Tamworth hospital, in the seven days between its opening on Monday and Sunday night.
The total test count of 311 indicates an average of about 44 people presented to the clinic per day over the past week.

The testing clinic has the capacity to screen between 100 and 200 people per day.
The health authority was concerned about low numbers of people showing up for a test early last week, with only 29 people making use of the service last Monday and 47 on Tuesday.
HNEH set up the pop-up drive-through service on Ring Road at Tamworth hospital last week, ahead of the New Zealand Warriors versus Knights NRL clash at Scully Park on Saturday afternoon.
The free screening clinic is open every day this week as well.
HNEH urged anyone with even the mildest of cold-like or flu-like symptoms to seek out a COVID-19 test.

Tamworth has been free of new confirmed COVID-19 cases for more than four months, but NSW recorded 10 new cases in the latest 24-hour testing period.
