Temperatures are set to become gradually lower throughout the week in Tamworth, with temperatures only forecast to reach 11 degrees on Saturday and 14 degrees on Sunday, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM).
The BoM has forecast only a slight chance of any rain through the week.
Gunnedah Airport received about 6.5mm over the weekend, with Tamworth seeing 6.8mm over the weekend till Monday morning.
This rain bumped up Keepit Dam's level to 22.1 per cent. Chaffey Dam was up to 24.5 per cent.

Cooler temperatures on the way means the chance of some fluffy snow, and Dave Farrenden from Tamworth Regional Weather has predicted that, among many other areas, Hanging Rock, Armidale, Moonbi and potentially Mount Kaputar could see some fresh pow.
At this stage models predict 8-9cm for Hanging Rock. Walcha could see 3-5cm and Guyra/Ben Lomond 3-6cm.
"Showers, wind and snow will make next weekend very cold and the windchill will be extremely cold making temperatures much colder than predicted," Mr Farrenden said.
He said Mount Kaputar had been "in and out of models due to limitations on moisture further west", but if this improved, there would "likely be a dusting" of snow.
It won't just be for one day, either, with snow set to hang around from Thursday to Sunday.
Mr Farrenden had some words of advice for locals thinking of taking a trip to the snow.
"Drive to the conditions and obey road closed signs. Please be snow safe and don't trespass or enter anyone's property without being invited," he said.
"Don't stop on roads to take a photo or video as snow causes thick fog."
