A Goondiwindi truck driver stopped for a random breath test has lost his licence after being charged with drink-driving in Moree.

Highway Patrol officers intercepted the fully-laden road train in Gwydir Street, Moree at about 8.30pm on Thursday.
The driver of the heavy vehicle was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive reading, police said.
The 52-year-old man was arrested and taken to Moree Police station where he allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.116.

He was charged with mid-range PCA and had his driver's licence suspended on the spot.
Police will allege the man was driving the road train, laden with hay, from Victoria to North Star, 100km north-east of Moree.
The man, from Goondiwindi in Queensland, has been issued with a notice to appear in Moree Local Court in September.
