The temperature dropped to -3.6 degrees on Tuesday morning, according to the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) weather station at Tamworth airport.
The minimum was reached just after 7am.
The cold weather was enough to freeze over windscreens, dogs' water bowls, and bring a thick and lingering frost to town.
Tamworth's minimum daily temperature has now been below zero for three days running, and the visits from Jack Frost keep on coming.
