A man has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital after an accident between a motorbike and a truck.

The accident happened yesterday between Nowendoc and Gloucester.
The 57-year-old rider was travelling on Thunderbolts Way at Giro when he glanced off the side of a large truck and hit the guard rail, a Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter critical care medical team treated the man before he was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
He had sustained pelvic injuries and fractures and was in a stable condition.
