Traffic conditions have changed as work hours have been extended at the stretch just south of Willow Tree.
The upgrade works are being carried out along a one kilometre section, with crews currently working on improving drainage before rebuilding the road.
Work will now take place from 6.30am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and is expected to be completed by mid-August, weather permitting.

Some lane closures will be in place, with traffic control and a reduced speed limit for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
