The Hats Off To Country festival kicks off on Thursday, and organisers are promoting a GoFundMe page set up to raise money for the country music artist.
The SaltbushSix appeared at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January. It was only shortly after, in March this year, Holden found out about his cancer.

The GoFundMe page was set up by family and friends, and has raised close to $30,000 for Holden's medical and day-to-day living bills.
It describes him as "our dear friend, father, grandfather, band mate and all-round favourite human".
"He has been extremely generous to so many people throughout his life, so now it's time for us to give back to him," it reads.
Now it's time for us to give back to him.
"He's been going through early and aggressive treatment at a time of social distancing, which is tragic."
Holden has been a part of the country music scene for decades, and was an original member of Keith Urban's band.
It is understood he is getting treatment in Queensland.
