If that happens, the club will field men's, women's and under-14 outfits for the first time in their history, said Bulldogs president Hamish Russell.
All three side will be in action against the Swans - in what will be the first games for both clubs this year ahead of the July 18 season launch.
Russell said: "It is only a trial game, but it's significant for us.
"Because if we can maintain that momentum, hopefully we're gonna have success across three grades come the pointy end of the season."
Russell said 30 girls had registered to play this season.
"They've [the girls] been training the house down," he said, adding: "We had 25 guys turn up to training last night [Thursday].
"They're all comping at the bit to actually get out there and have a crack on the footy field."
