School holidays in Tamworth may be on a smaller scale than normal, however the PCYC and Tamworth Regional Council have made sure students can beat the boredom.

The Central Northern Regional Library has put together a fabulous online library on its website of activities to keep children entertained.
An introductory video explains how to follow the F-A-S-T activities of Food - Art - Science - Technology across more than 23 videos to choose from promising "lots of experimenting and creating, baking and shaking, composing and crafting, missing and measuring".
The Tamworth Sports Dome is offering a jam-packed week scheduled to start each day at 9am and run a number of programs to 4pm.
"Children have the opportunity to participate in modified sports, skill based activities and school yard games. It's great value at $45 each child to spend the day there and for an extra $8 lunch is provided," Sports Dome program officer Blake Mammarella said.
The week is finished off with a Fencing NSW program giving local children the chance to try the sport which has a tradition dating back hundreds of years.
Bookings are essential, as spaces are limited to ensure current public health orders and social distancing measures can be followed.
The Tamworth Regional Gallery also has a number of activities planned via Zoom meeting app including a Wind Chime Design workshop to design and create a lovely garden display.
Children can also join the Illustrate Your Own Porcelain Plate workshop, which will leave children with a plate they will love to eat their meals off because it's their very own creation.
Children have the opportunity to participate in modified sports, skill based activities and school yard games.

The cost of these workshops is just $10 a session which includes materials that can be collected once enrolled in the activity.
The final activity being offered by the Gallery this school holidays is a free Virtual Plein Air painting workshop with Michelle Hungerford on Sunday 19 July 2020.
At the PCYC, Monday's OOSH activity is an Introduction to NAIDOC Week, with crafting and traditional Aboriginal games.
On Tuesday, deck your kids out in sports gear for gymnastics, which will use their flexibility, agility, strength, coordination, balance and endurance.
Crack out the nerf guns for Wednesday, where teams can test their mettle against their instructors.
You have only one minute to win it on Thursday, with 60 second sport, art and trivia challenges.

Friday, its time to relax. come dressed in favourite onesies, pajamas, slippers and Ugg boots for a more low-key day of games.
Week 1 of the holidays will be covered under the free childcare arrangements through the the government COVID-19 regulations, with Week 2 under the newly announced CCS entitlements.
