The Suns have nominated teams for the senior men's, women's and under-17s competitions.
Club president Ashley Jones said numbers at training have been slowly growing over the last few weeks.
"We're getting more people involved, seen a few new faces which is nice, but it'd be nice to see more faces down there," he said.

Jones said there have been a couple of players from other clubs in town come along to training, but is hoping to see more join.
With the Covid-19 restrictions continuing to ease, the training sessions have become a lot easier to run, with the maximum number of players in a group increasing from 10 to 20.
"It made it difficult...just having to limit the numbers and divide the playing group at times can make it hard," Jones said.
"But it's now a max of 20 so that makes it a lot easier. You can run some really good sessions with 20 people."
After not being able to field a women's side last season, the Suns will be entering a team into the 2020 competition.
"The women's have really picked up," Jones said.
"They've been getting more down there than the men, so that's really good for them."
The junior numbers might be a little down, but with Moree Junior Rugby League not participating in this year's Group 19 junior rugby league competition, Jones is hoping to see more young players join the club for the upcoming season.
"We've approached the rugby league club and they said they're going to put it out there to all their parents, which is really good of them," he said.
"It just gives them the opportunity to play sport and try something they might not have tried."
Jones is encouraging anyone interested in giving AFL a go to come along to Suns training at the Moree Showground on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.30pm for juniors and 6.30pm for the senior men and women.
The AFL North West season will commence on July 18.
