Sue Haylock had a long career in employment, training, industrial relations and community liaison.
She was a valued member of the board of SkillShare and Joblink Plus for more than 20 years.
Sue advocated for training, education, traineeships and apprenticeships, particularly for the youth and the disadvantaged in the community.
Following Sue's death in 2007, after a short battle with cancer, the board of Joblink Plus established the Sue Haylock Memorial Trophy in her memory.
This perpetual award was approved by the Board of Directors of Joblink Plus in May, 2011.
It is for outstanding commitment to achievement of a vocational qualification and is open to all categories.
