The Bao Brothers Food Truck has been a hit at the Tamworth Country Music Festival the past couple of years and now the bao is coming to your door.
Co-owners Nathan Martin and David Griffin are bringing their Bao at Home Kits to Tamworth this Saturday.
The kits were a way for Bao Brothers to continue their business going through the COVID-19 pandemic and due to the overwhelming response they've decided to hit the road with the kits.
Two flavours will be available. The Notorious PIG, a braised pork bao with hoisin and peanut praline or you can choose the vegetarian option, mushroom and truffle croquette bao.
They take 15 minutes to make, and a recipe card will be provided while the brothers have filmed a follow along video too.
The kits can be ordered online and available to pick up in Tamworth this Saturday, June 27. Kits can be picked up from the Tamworth Visitor Information Centre at the Big Golden Guitar. Pick-up time will be between 2:30pm-4pm.
There will also be a few lucky door prizes supplied by the museum, the Strings and Beans Cafe and Bao Brothers on the afternoon as well.
You can order online at https://bao-brothers-eatery.myshopify.com/collections/all. Orders must be placed by Thursday, June 25 at 9pm.
