Police have commenced an investigation after lambs went missing from a property near Inverell.

The Rural Crime Prevention Team in Inverell are investigating the theft of the three lambs which went missing from the property on Copeton Dam Road at Gum Flat.
The lambs went missing over a three-week period leading up to the June 7.

The missing sheep are described as: Doper x Suffock lambs. Mixed sex. Wethers will be fitted with NLIS tag with the Number NI592233 on it.
There is one very distinctive lamb wether which is black and white in colour.
It will have marking rings fitted to the tail and scrotum of the sheep.
The other two missing lambs could be white and black or just plain white and their sex has not been confirmed.
Investigators want to speak with any person who may be able to assist with information in relation to the missing sheep or any person who has been sighted acting suspiciously in or around the Copeton Dam Road or Wiltshire Lane at Gum Flat.
