And it's full steam ahead now, with their markets given the green light to go ahead early next month, albeit on a smaller scale than normal.
Penny Kasteel, president of the craft centre, said she had the good fortune of speaking to a friend who organises a market in Sydney, and said her input was "invaluable".
"She gave us some really good ideas about how to operate safely in the current climate," she explained.
"We obviously want to keep everyone safe."
Sharing of knowledge is something treasured at the shed, and many members had missed being able to bounce ideas or gain inspiration from one another while they were in isolation.
"I've been driven mad at home," spinner Prue Campese laughed.
"We can work from home, but it's just not the same," Margaret Hughes added.
Ms Hughes had taken the time in isolation to tie all the loose ends of unfinished projects, while also making quilts for Ronald MacDonald House and premature babies.
There is really nothing you can't do here.

While the spinners, sewers and felters were enjoying the company again, Ms Kasteel said the potter's kiln never cooled down over lockdown.
"A lot of our potters were making their projects at home, and would come in to fire them when they could," she said.
With member numbers on the rise, she hoped the reopening of the markets would inspire others to join.
"There is really nothing you can't do here," she explained.
And with sewing and patchwork, embroidery, spinning and weaving, felting, wood turning, art, pottery, crochet, lapidary and bonsai groups, she says there is something for everyone.
