All racing in the region has been centralised in Gunnedah for the last three months after Greyhound Racing NSW implemented a zoning structure in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Following the easing of travel restrictions that has been disbanded.
Tamworth was to resume public trials on Sunday but had to push that back to Tuesday due to the safety of the track following the heavy rain overnight on Saturday.

Now they are getting set to race again with the governing body releasing the race dates for the 2020/21 racing year.
At this stage the full calendar only covers TAB tracks with only the July and August dates issued for non-TAB tracks. Tamworth has been allocated meetings on July 25 and August 22, with the latter being classed a provincial meeting.
Club president Robert Munn is expecting to pick up more as further dates are issued for non-TAB tracks.
He is also hopeful of still being able to run the Tamworth Cup carnival this year.
Initially scheduled for March 29 to April 4, it was moved to June 14-20 but with travel restrictions still in place until this month it had to be postponed again.
Munn has asked the governing body about a new date but is still waiting for a response.
"As far as I'm concerned it will be run before the end of the year," he said.
"I will be pushing for that to happen."
Gunnedah meanwhile is set for a busy year after being allocated 23 meetings. Twenty of those are Thursday meetings with the club moving to a Thursday twilight timeslot. The other three will be Sundays.
