Ambulance NSW were called to reports of a two-car crash at the intersection of Marius and Bligh Streets at about 1.20pm.
A spokesperson for Ambulance NSW said two units were deployed to the crash and paramedics assessed three patients at the scene from two cars.
One person was taken to Tamworth hospital with minor injuries in a stable condition.

Fire and Rescue NSW from East Tamworth was also tasked to the scene after one triple zero caller reported a car into a pole with smoke coming from the car, but luckily, there was no fire.
Investigations into the crash are continuing.
