DESPITE her own business suffering during the coronavirus shutdown, Kerry Warden came up with a plan to help local beauty industry staff get back on their feet.
Ms Warden owns the Image Factory in the city's CBD, and is offering her spaces for free to beauticians, hairdressers, masseuses and nail artists for the entire month of June.
"This is a one-stop hub for beauty and I thought it was a nice thing to give back to the community," she said.
"Being impacted yourself, it makes you realise how other people must be hurting too and it was a way of giving a hand up, not a hand out, which feels good to me."
Ms Warden said her Peel Street location is decked out for all beauty purposes.
People wanting to make the most of her offer can contact her through the Image Factory's Facebook page.
The beauty industry will reopen on Monday as the state government rolls back COVID-19 restrictions.
