Tamworth Regional Council confirmed the animal park and the Tamworth Adventure Playground will be open for people to visit again from June 1.
Tamworth Marsupial Park and the playground were closed in March amid the coronavirus crisis, but the opening comes as the state government continues to roll back COVID-19 restrictions.

Secretary of volunteer group Friends of Marsupial Park, Gordon Holding, said it will be wonderful to have people back again - for their furry and feathery residents as much as for local families.
"The animals and birds are missing the company, they love having people around," he said.
The volunteer group and council staff have been working hard at the park during the shutdown, and Mr Holding said they've been taking the opportunity to make improvements.
"The advantage is we're getting work done ... we've been working hard to get the place ready for reopening, we've been doing planting to replace a lot of things lost during the drought," he said.
The group have also been doing daily checks on the animals, cleaning enclosures and feeding and watering them.
Tamworth council is still working out the finer details of the park's reopening, but for now, barbecue areas at parks across the region remain off-limits.
About 150 parks and playgrounds in the Tamworth area reopened under stage one of restrictions easing about two weeks ago.
