Public submissions on Tamworth Regional Council's Blueprint 100 plan have been received and incorporated into the document which designs the direction of the city.
The blueprint is part of a plan to have Tamworth reach a population of 100,000 by 2041, after it was recognised by Deputy Premier John Barilaro as a key area for growth for inland NSW in 2018.
The development of the plan started in March 2019 and involved a number of council workshops with input from the community, businesses, state government agencies, council's senior staff and councillors.

The plan focuses on four key areas to achieve a higher population, being jobs, skills, affordability and liveability.
The second part looks at land use planning in accordance with new state government guidelines.
