Three days after his jail break, New England police are throwing every resource at the chase for Selim Sensoy, which was continuing on Monday night
The police helicopter, dog squad and other specialist police have joined the search for the 44-year-old who fled Glen Innes Correction Centre on Saturday morning.
Police are trying to track whether the inmate - who has ties to Southern Queensland, the Mid North Coast and Sydney - has taken a vehicle to evade officers.

The search ramped up on Sunday when police suspected Sensoy was on the run in a stolen red Subaru WRX, taken from Glen Innes.
Police tasked all resources to track the stolen car before they homed in on it in Moree, where it was involved in a chase.
The Subaru was spotted in Edward Street just before 11am and officers initiated a pursuit when it failed to stop.
They quickly called it off because of the dangerous manner of driving, police said.
Using the dog unit and PolAir, officers tracked the stolen car to the banks of the Gwydir River where Jason Craigie and Michael Binge were captured, but Sensoy wasn't among them.
The pair were charged and spent the night in custody before fronting Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
Jason Craigie pleaded not guilty to police pursuit; driving in a speed or manner dangerous; driving a stolen car; and driver never licensed.
The 44-year-old was denied bail by magistrate Julie Soars.
Police will compile the brief of evidence before the case returns to court in mid-July.
Michael Binge denied he was the passenger in the stolen car, pleading not guilty to the charge.
The 50-year-old was granted conditional bail in Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
He's also accused of two counts of never licensed person drive on road, from unrelated matters in 2019, which he pleaded guilty too.
He's been ordered to report to police once-a-week, live in Glen Innes, and not drive or get behind the wheel.
Binge will return to court in July.
Police don't suspect Sensoy was connected to the stolen car, now.
New England police have warned the public not to approach Sensoy if he is sighted, but rather call Triple Zero immediately.
Sensoy is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, is between 175 and 185cm tall, with a medium build, and brown eyes and grey hair.
He was last seen wearing prison greens; however, police say he could have changed clothes.
