A disqualified driver led police on a high-speed chase despite losing both front tyres, police say.

Police tried to pull over the man's Holden Commodore at 3.30am on Saturday, they say. Police say the vehicle was spotted on Cooma Road in Narrabri near Bridge Street with its rear lights out.
But the 42-year-old driver allegedly failed to stop, leading officers Oxley police on a chase that reached speeds that reached 110km/h.
Police allege the man drove towards officers after crashing into the side of the road.
Despite significant damage to the vehicle, the pursuit continued, police allege.

But after the vehicle lost both front tyres, police ended the pursuit for safety reasons, they said.
A brief time later police saw the car enter a rural property on Purcell Drive.
Police officers followed on foot and found the man hiding in a tree.
He was arrested and taken to Narrabri Police Station.
The man was charged with engaging in a police pursuit; disqualified driving; and using an unregistered vehicle. He was refused bail to front court.
