Warriors halfback Kodi Nikorima has "mixed emotions" about the side's imminent departure from Tamworth after more than two weeks in isolation.
The Warriors leave Tamworth on Wednesday and head to Gosford, where they will be based during the truncated NRL season.
Nikorima said: "I've actually quite enjoyed our two weeks here in isolation in Tamworth."
He added: "We've been in a little box, a little bubble, but we've got everything we need."
The team has been based at the Mecure Hotel in the Country Music Capital, with their movements largely restricted to that property and training at nearby Scully Park.
Nikorima would like to return to Tamworth to play a game at Scully Park.
Warriors chief executive Cameron George revealed on Monday that he had spoken with Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe about the sides playing an NRL game in Tamworth next season.
