POLICE are hunting three men and a woman after a violent bashing which left a man with head injuries in Tamworth.

The 30-year-old man was found injured by police in Bourne Street on Saturday morning after he fled the scene of the bashing.
Police said the victim left a nearby home and was walking along Cole Road about 5.30am on Saturday.
Officers have been told a Holden Commodore pulled up alongside him and three armed men got out and confronted the victim.

Police said the men were each armed with weapons and started to assault the victim before they stole his wallet, phone, backpack and shoes.
They then got back in the car, and fled. Police said the car was being driven by a woman at the time.
The injured man ran off and was later found by police on the roadway in Bourne Street.
Ambulance paramedics were called and treated the man for head injuries. He was taken to Tamworth hospital but it's unknown what condition he is in.
Officers have been doorknocking streets in Coledale after a crime scene was set up on Saturday.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who might have seen the bashing or the Holden Commodore with four people inside being driven in the Coledale area in the early hours of Saturday.
