Tahlia Barwick has created Project Paper Hearts, a project that sends out artworks and letters, amongst other things, to aged care facilities.
The project has been going since mid-March and came about after Tahlia was on the receiving end of similar kindness.
"During the drought, we got lots of letters - my family and I - from people that we don't know," Tahlia said.
"A lot of the elderly in isolation must be feeling really lonely now and I wanted to do the same thing and support them the way people supported us."

Tahlia has made a drop to Nazareth House already but the plan is to make drops at a number of different aged care facilities. Bupa is next on the list.
And she even received a reply from one of the letters sent to Nazareth House.
"They emailed back responding to my brother Jock's letter which was really sweet. It was nice to see that," Tahlia said.
The project isn't confined to just letters and artworks, though.
"It's really broad what you can do," Tahlia said,
"We actually had somebody ask to send in a recording of them playing a song their great grandmother used to play to them.
