A 14-year-old boy has been bashed during a late-night robbery in Tamworth.

Police made a public appeal for information to find the offenders after the 14-year-old was attacked in the street on Thursday night.
The teenager was walking along Nancy Street and was confronted by two men as he walked into a laneway about 10pm.
Police have been told the offenders demanded the boy's bumbag and one of the men held the boy's arms while the other punched him several times.

The offenders stole the boy's bag which contained a wallet, keys and a speaker, and fled on foot.
Police were alerted and scoured the neighbourhood as part of their investigation.
They're hunting two men described as being Caucasian in appearance and about 185cm tall. Both were wearing black hooded jumpers at the time.
Officers are appealing for anyone that might have seen the robbery, or two men in the area about 10pm on Thursday.
